(01)The challenge

Kiln had world-class infrastructure and a brand that looked like every other AI startup: purple gradients, floating orbs and vague promises. Developers couldn't tell what it did, and enterprise buyers couldn't tell why it mattered.

(02)Our approach

We built the identity around heat, the very real cost of compute, and made it measurable. A thermal color system maps to latency and load, the wordmark is cut from a monospace grid, and every surface, from the docs to the billing page, speaks in the same precise, slightly warm voice.

The docs, dashboard and marketing site now share one component library, so the brand holds from first click to first deploy.

From kickoff to public launch

Cinder didn't just redesign our product. They found the story we'd been failing to tell for three years, and signups tripled in a quarter.
